Just in time for the Holidays, pruning season is here again! The HELM landscaping team has been out in full force doing annual boxwood maintenance. Boxwoods are a low maintenance plant but they do require seasonal pruning to maintain their health and appearance. Pruning is not just for aesthetics and size reduction – it allows for increased sunlight and airflow to reach the plant’s interior, allowing it to regrow from within, which creates a fuller, healthier shrub.  Especially important for older, larger boxwoods, which are often a focal point of established landscapes.
