Anyone who grows grapes in Virginia, whether a private grower or a destination vineyard, can attest to the challenges and rewards of successful winemaking. However, before you even get that far you’ll need a vineyard to grow your grapes in. HELM just returned from three days in Lexington, Virginia where we installed 8 acres of vineyard trellis, some of it in the snow.
