Few things are better than a good fire and a beautiful setting. One of our long-term clients had a lot of rock on his farm and asked if we could build a fire pit out of a growing pile he’d collected. Two members of our project team, Rodrigo and Henry, were able to take the design and run with it, and built the fire pit below. We built the pit on a base of stone dust and pea gravel, and then found and moved several large stones from a nearby hillside to create the seating area. The guys did a heck of a with the stonework – and good local (correction, very local) materials and an incredible setting didn’t hurt either!
