Having your own personal skeet shooting range is great for social gatherings and offers hours of entertainment. There are a variety of different types of shooting ranges, which one you choose depends on your own individual preference and suitability of the property. The most common are Skeet and Trap shooting.
Skeet: Targets are launched from two different machines, they require two separate houses, and the targets cross.
Trap: Targets are launched from a single house, away from the shooter.
To create a range you need approximately 40 yards of cleared land, “houses” for the machines, and ideally a shooting deck.
