Saturday was the opening day of dove season and we had a great first hunt in our field. We had ten shooters and more birds coming in then we knew what to do with. It was great to see months of preparation and management result in such a successful shoot. There are few things better than kicking off the season hunting with a good group of friends followed by a late summer evening hanging out, eating dove around the grill.
